CPU-Z uses a configuration file, cpuz.ini, that allows setting several parameters for the program. The parameters including: TextFontName, TextFontSize, TextFontColor, LabelFontName, LabelFontSize, PCI, MaxPCIBus, DMI, Sensor, SMBus, Display, UseDisplayAPI, BusClock, Chipset, SPD and CheckUpdates. Not all computers will be able to feel the benefits, as they are restrained to the group of low or medium-end CPU users.
This application will give you more hardware not software like Belarc Advisor-oriented picture of your computer and is lighter on the hardware side of things. It also comes down to your hardware and maybe the difference between upgrading your CPU or just buying a simple program. CPU-Z still is a very nice software to have in the background while you play or maybe open something program.
