PCSX-Reloaded is a modified PCSX, which is based on PlayStation 1 code and libraries. It supports both Windows and Linux operating systems. Developed as a fork of PCSX-df 1.9, PCSX-Reloaded is the result of adding various features and contributing to its development. PCSXR is a PlayStation emulator for Windows, Linux/Unix, and Mac OS X. It’s a port of the PCSX DRI project (PCSX standing for Playstation Emulator) to the X Window System with many additional features and improvements. It is an update to the original PCSX by the same authors and claims many internal improvements (including the speed) thanks to their new “Farseer” SPU core.
