This version (2003) although superior to later versions did pick up a little bloat since 2000. In virtually every way the program looks and feels like the previous MS Office versions. This version is more current concerning file formats and new features that are needed on occasion. Besides Word and Excel format, this version is capable of dealing with the newer XML, HTML, what have you. The software seems to run OK under Windows 10.

Office 2003 is reliable, works great, and doesn’t make you learn a new paradigm. This product may be old, but it definitely gets the job done. This software was run perfectly on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1. The new layout of outlook is lovely, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft FrontPage, all good. For experienced users, this is all you need.

This is my old, reliable standard, the tool works fine for what I need. If you don’t like Office 2007 or are in a work environment that demands everyone be using the same version of office, get this. If you are using anything such as XP, 2000 or before, then this is excellent software. If you are new to computers or an Office novice then 2007 will work for you.
