JPEGView is an excellent replacement for Windows Explorer’s (native) JPEG/TIFF preview. Why? First, no installation is required. Second, it is incredibly fast in all operations (loading, viewing, etc.). Third, it offers an exceptional number of configurable parameters to tweak. It provides a sophisticated range of features that let you peek into the innards of your images and process them on the fly: adjust brightness, contrast, and color balance, apply filters, change perspective, or rotate in all directions, although not bloated with eye candy and an extensive (customizable) GUI.
