The uGet Download Manager is a free product written in C++ using GTK+ 2/3 as its GUI toolkit. It currently runs on Unix-like Operating systems (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OS X, Solaris, etc.) and supports many services including HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, BitTorrent, Rapidshare. QBitTorrent and eDonkey Peer-to-Peer and Direct connections are also supported. The download speed is theoretically unlimited and it can be paused and resumed for any reason or at any time. It can also resume downloads where the connection was broken or for instance if lost.
uGet is small, lightweight, and fast. It can resume your downloads and it also supports up to 16 simultaneous connections per download. uGet can delete files after they have been downloaded and also supports multiple sources for a single download. Download files in many segments to increase download speeds. Pause and Resume downloads allow you to temporarily pause downloads without having to start the download from the beginning.
uGet is a lightweight, yet powerful, Open Source download manager for GNU/Linux. It comes as a portable Windows application and is packaged for Linux as an AppImage. Use the Pause and Resume downloads feature to temporarily pause a download when you get interrupted a meeting or if you need to take care of something else and then resume it in the same state you left off.
