OpenOffice product is a great replacement for Microsoft Office, despite being free, it works almost as well as other office suite programs such as Microsoft Office. It will have better compatibility and a nicer User Interface and is still free. With Apache OpenOffice suite you were able to open and edit Word documents and Excel documents from my older version of MS office. You can create, save and modify a document, drawing images, and a spreadsheet easily, although I used only simple functions.

This program has more applications and is designed to run with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and the old Windows XP Professional edition. This application also has tech support along with a toolbox. It is compatible with these other programs so you can evaluate them. Installation was easy, and the programs seem to be intuitive to use and very similar to Word and Excel. One of the advantages is that you do not have to pay to have a writer, and the compatibility of files is even greater than that of Microsoft.

Apache OpenOffice is a complete office package with a text editor, tables, presentations, and much more. It is easy to find and to install, and also weighs little and consumes few resources. It is a great product and does all the things that large corporate programs have designed. I have used Open Office before and it is great. It’s as good as Word, but no limits on how many times you get to use (trial version) like the Microsoft Office suite.
